VICTORIA
BECKHAM will ensure that the fashion pack is up and about early
this Sunday morning, to view the latest line from her eponymous
brand. If previous seasons are anything to go by, husband
David Beckham will undoubtedly be in attendance - presumably
with at least one of the Beckham children in tow. (If Romeo didn't
have school the next day, our money would have been on him.)
Next on the schedule is Derek Lam,
followed by DKNY -
which, with Cara
Delevingne as the current face of the brand, will surely mean
that she'll be a model to spot on the catwalk. Tracy Reese and
Thakoon will
take us into the afternoon.
The evening starts with the new offering from Diane von
Furstenberg, always a must-see show for the New York and
international editors. Last season, the designer had her girls
sporting video camera glasses to allow a model's-eye view of the
catwalk - we wonder if she'll have something equally
innovative in store for autumn/winter 2013-14.
Finally Zac
Posen and Tommy
Hilfiger draw the day to a close. As Posen has been named as
the new Project Runway judge, no doubt we'll be seeing
some of his fellow panellists in attendance, not to mention some of
his favourite model faces on the catwalk - Naomi Campbell and Coco
Rocha closed the show last season.
